SDG11

The project I created on my own was inspired by Battersea Power Station. This example is vital for me as it shows sustainability. I want to influence the world to focus on transforming old buildings and creating green life and an urban environment. I spent a solid time in the exploration of South London’s streets. Where every corner whispered inspiration. From Themes to Chelsea Barracks, from captivating conversations with locals to delving into the Pink Floyd timeless legacy. Each moment unlocked my creativity. The original plan of this project was to write a pitch letter, but the desire to try to write poetry in English was more substantial than what could go right. I borrowed a caption from the lyrical genius Pink Floyd with most of the Instagram posts.

At the heart of it all stands the iconic Battersea Power Station, a symbol of resilience and progress, part of sustainable cities and communities. My art is also inspired by the American filmmaker Stanley Kubrick and his theory in his movie “The Shining”. Battersea Power Station has now protected bird species, brown roofs, and bug hotels specially designed for bees. Supporting and promoting local businesses with thousands of opportunities for young people. This is part of Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements from United Nations Development Goal 11. My website script design is like the one of the Battersea Shopping Centre. It relates to the old-school industrial style. A beautiful reminder of where I come from. East Europe has a long way to go, and I am here for it.
