SDG11

To address SDG 11: (Sustainable Cities and Communities) mentioned that air pollution is no longer an exclusively urban problem, and a billion people lack access to all-weather roads (United Nations ,2023). We selected three representative national projects with different environments: The Line in Saudi Arabia, Dogen City in Japan, and PlaNYC in New York. In each of the three artefacts, it is expected that two-thirds of the world’s population will live in urban areas by 2050 (United Nations ,2022). These artefacts responds to the problem of overpopulation.

Furthermore, transport and mobility are at the heart of sustainable development, as proposed at the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (United Nations, 2022). In the selected projects, we will also make relevant explanations on traffic issues.

In the video part, we explained what the future could look like, focusing on visual effects. More professional, historical evidence is given in the magazine to prove the details of achievable projects. In the poster, we hope to achieve the purpose of making others invest by visualizing the effect.
