SDG15
We unite diverse artefacts under the Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, aiming to forge a symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature.
Through our multiple artefacts, we seek to confront critical global challenges: endangered species extinction, deteriorating land health, and deforestation—by championing biodiversity and advocating for the sustainable management of terrestrial ecosystems.
The “Grovi” app is designed to engage younger audiences in daily eco-friendly practices, fostering awareness and action towards forest conservation. By linking everyday behaviour with tangible outcomes, such as planting real trees, “Grovi” endeavours to cultivate a community committed to sustainability.
Our magazine feature delves into the complexities of land degradation, offering readers an in-depth analysis of its causes and the current state of land health. By presenting existing solutions and urging reader participation, this artefact aims to enlighten and mobilise an older demographic towards mitigating land degradation.
The interactive installation, crafted with TouchDesigner and LeapMotion, invites participants to experience firsthand the impact of human activities on wildlife ecosystems, placing them within the context of endangerment. This immersive experience aims to spotlight the urgency of addressing species extinction.
Our campaign synergizes these artefacts, utilising an Instagram account to amplify our message and the values embodied by SDG 15. By targeting a broad audience, we strive to galvanise collective action in safeguarding and revitalising our planet’s terrestrial life.
